TECAR therapy
It is a high-frequency current, which aims at the 'natural regeneration' of biological tissues. Through the procedures carried out and the energy induced, we have as a result faster tissue healing, therefore faster recovery. Due to the oscillations caused by the energy created, we also have immediate and lasting analgesia. Finally, by increasing the intensity, we have a simultaneous increase in local heat in the area. Through specific mechanisms that occur in the area under treatment, we have an improvement of lymphatic drainage, better vascularization of the area and therefore liberation of movement.
Indications: It can be used in all acute or chronic conditions, depending on the patient's condition. TECAR treatment, has an analgesic and anti-inflammatory effect, frees the range of motion of the joints, reduces swelling, facilitates the blood diffusion process, improves the recovery process and reduces recovery time, speeding up the return to physical activity.
SHOCK WAVE therapy
Radiant waves produce energy, which is transferred through the soft tissues to the affected area. In summary, the effects of impact ultrasound are: the creation of hyperemia and the reduction of inflammation in the affected area, the secretion of endorphins reducing pain, the anti-inflammatory effect, the release of free radicals and the overstimulation of nerve fibers.
Indications: Elbow epicondylitis, Plantar fasciitis and heel spur, Trochanteritis, Calcifying tendinitis, Myofascial pain and trigger points, Patella and Achilles tendinitis, as well as many other conditions.
ERGON TECHNIQUE
It is an innovative therapeutic approach that combines static and dynamic manipulations of the soft tissues of the body with special clinical equipment made of stainless steel, with the aim of treating pathological conditions. The results obtained after the application of the technique are the increase in elasticity and flexibility of stiff joints, the strengthening of the healing process and the reduction of muscle spasm, thus a faster return to functionality.
Indications: Frozen shoulder, epicondylitis of the elbow, tendinopathy of the supraspinatus, Achilles, patella, Myofascial pain syndrome, muscle contusions, surgical incisions, back pain, cervical syndrome, etc.
BEAUTYSTIM TECHNIQUE
Like the Ergon Technique, it is a tissue mobilization system using special equipment for aesthetic purposes.
The techniques used to achieve the aesthetic results are:
Release: we release the restrictions and adhesions of the fascia and heal the scar tissue.
Drain: facilitate and achieve lymphatic drainage.
Lift: facial and body lifting technique
Smooth: reduces the appearance and prevents the formation of wrinkles and fine lines .
Reshape: helps to reduce cellulite and sculpt the body.
In summary, the results offered by the above techniques when applied in combination are:
- Lymphatic drainage of body and face.
- Body and face lifting and tightening.
- Reduction of wrinkles and fine lines.
- Improving skin elasticity
- Boosting collagen production
- Helping to tighten loose skin
- Reduction of cellulite
- Tightening of the chest, abdomen and buttocks
- Improving posture and physical appearance
- Total body oxidative stress treatment
NEURAC-REDCORD
The Neurac method, is a highly effective theory of treatment and functional exercise based on body weight and the assistance of Redcord suspension systems. It is an integrated system of evaluation and treatment of the musculoskeletal system, which with the help of suspension systems aims to reactivate deactivated muscles of the body.
Ackermann College Chiropractic Techniques
These are gentle chiropractic and structural osteopathy techniques applied to problems related to pain in the spine, viscera and peripheral joints. The goal of these techniques is to improve functionality, eliminating pain and improving range of motion.
KINETIC FLOSSING TECHNIQUE
The Kinetic Flossing technique is an innovative therapeutic technique that involves special elastic straps, which are applied to the human body for the treatment of musculoskeletal and neuro-musculoskeletal conditions. The therapist applies a strong ischemic bandage to the part of the patient's body that is being treated. This strong binding of one or more anatomical regions and/or joints contributes to important hemodynamic, biomechanical and neurophysiological adaptations. The great functional advantage of the technique is that it is performed in combination with specific therapeutic techniques such as passive or active mobilization, special mobilization techniques or low-intensity exercise.
Results: Reduction of pain, muscle tone and spasm, Accelerates healing, Improves blood and lymph circulation, Promotes muscle hypertrophy, Retrains functional motor patents and corrects movement of anatomical structures, and accelerates healing by increasing metabolism and removing muscle waste.
Indications: Tendonitis, muscle sprains and injuries, ligament injuries, muscle spasms, incorrect movement patterns
LEUKOTAPING
The Leukotaping or Kinesiotaping method is a technique designed to facilitate the body's natural recovery process by providing support and stability with the use of special tapes.
The application of the tape provides a better sense of movement (kinesthesia) in the muscles and joints without restricting the body's range of motion and prolongs the benefits of previous treatment.
The tape can be applied in hundreds of ways depending on the needs of each patient. It has the ability to retrain the neuromuscular system, reduce pain and inflammation, optimize performance, prevent injuries and promote good circulation and recovery, helping the body return to homeostasis.
NORMATEC
This is a patented compression method that uses static compression (compression) to transfer fluid from the ends. Through Pulse technology, NormaTec uses dynamic compression (pulsing). The pulsatile action more effectively mimics the leg muscle pump significantly increasing the movement of fluids and metabolites from the extremities after intense training.
COMPEX
The Compex system is the world's most widely used electrical muscle stimulation (EMS) technology. It is also known as electromagnetic neuromuscular stimulation (NMES), muscle stimulation or e-stim.
It works in a dual way as it: sends electrical impulses to your motor nerves to cause muscle contractions. Thus, it helps maximize muscle effort by engaging a greater percentage of muscle fibers.
Compex can help prevent atrophy after some surgery. It also activates muscles that have been inactive due to some chronic pathological condition.
CUPPING THERAPY
Cupping therapy or dry cupping therapy is an ancient form of alternative medicine in which the therapist applies suction cups to the skin for a few minutes to create suction. The suction is carried out by removing the air through the suction cup using a special pump. The suction created by the application of the dry cup increases blood flow, reduces muscle spasm and improves the elasticity of the folds and TRIGGER POINTS. It is the appropriate therapeutic method for the combined reduction of pain and increase of blood flow.
